In 1981, the BBC and Acorn Computers companies released BBC Micro. The one of the first home computers on the market. It is believed that because of its appearance was formed an IT-industry of Great Britain, including the video game industry. After more than thirty years, BBC made a new revolution – this time in secondary education. To achieve this, the company released a BBC Micro Bit, the ancestor of the original BBC Micro, which supposedly should teach kids how to code. It is not only as an amazing product of British engineering. Equipped with ARM-based processors, it is superior in performance to the other PCs of 80s and early 90s. The operating system and basic applications stored in the ROM on the motherboard, which reduced the loading time to almost zero.
